BRAINMASTER AT-1 W2.5

Clinical Pro Wideband System
BrainMastertm
Technologies is proud to announce the availability of a new wideband 2E
module for advanced neurofeedback application. Now in field testing stage.
This device provides the capabilities of the existing 2E modules but has the
amplifier bandwidth extended for high frequency training when using the
latest software. This device is supported by software including the new
BrainMaster 2.5 release, the BioExplorer Enhanced Driver for BrainMaster,
the forthcoming BrainMirror 1.2 and additional software in development.
Researchers and practitioners who are working at 40 Hz and above (gamma
band) training will find this device of value. It provides superior
recording and feedback of fast EEG rhythms and with the higher sampling
rate, provides high resolution recordings for assessment and training
purposes. The wideband 2E represents the latest in a continuing series of
improvements to BrainMaster products and puts our products in the same class
with devices costing many times more. To upgrade existing 2E devices,

PASSKEYS
PASSKEYS
(533-001)
)
These training control PassKeys are used with the serial number of the
BrainMaster module and are issued to the clinician or by order of the
clinician for client use. PassKeys can be purchased to enable home,
school or corporate training based on calendar time or by allocating fixed
amounts of training time in minutes. PassKeys offer clinicians new
business opportunities offering usage assurance and security never before
available. Clinicians can now work intimately with their trainee(s).
PassKeys give clinicians “choice” as to the required level of
supervision necessary for safe remote training in the home, school or
corporate environment! Older 2E modules (under serial number 1825) must be
2.0 upgraded for usage. PassKeys are individual codes (unique to
each serial number) and received in printed, E-mail or faxed form. Minute
PassKeys allocate a predetermined number of training minutes and can be
allocated to the client in 100- minute increments. Provides optimal
clinician supervision ability and offers the client ease of use and a
user-friendly home training experience. Minute PassKeys offer remote
training clients the inner security of supervised “expert” training
direction increasing the likelihood of beneficial training results. This
enabling feature offers clinicians and/or clients a “pay as you train”
opportunity offering a cost effective and cash flow sensitive approach for
most remote training needs. Excellent monitoring device for “on site”
as well as “off site” neuro labs! Minute PassKeys may be doled
out to several BrainMaster modules upon request.

What
is it?
The
BrainMaster 2E Module is a low-cost, flexible, general-purpose brainwave
monitor. It connects to a PC in the same way that a modem does; but
instead of communicating over the telephone network, it monitors
brainwaves. It is immediately useful for applications in biofeedback,
research, education, recreation, hobby, self-awareness, art, performance,
brainwave-controlled systems, and virtual reality. It provides many of the
same basic functions as systems costing many times more, in an innovative
yet simple and economical design.
Its
capabilities include recording 1 or 2 channels of brainwaves or related
signals, data storage and retrieval, real-time signal processing and
display, plus various forms of control and feedback. It includes many
graphical display modes. It is possible to interface with the software, so
that various external programs can control the BrainMaster, as well as be
controlled, enabling user-developed applications to interact with live
brainwave data. Control and data interfaces to Visual Basic, Pascal, C,
and C++ are provided.
With this device, you can digitally record, store, process, display, and
work with brainwaves using any PC with Windows and a spare serial port.
You will be able to monitor and display waveform characteristics such as
alpha, beta, delta, or theta energy, the amount of symmetry in the
brainwaves, or set up the system to respond to your brainwaves by creating
displays, sounds, or other effects. This is useful for many
applications in which there is a need to record and study brainwaves, to
play games using brainwaves, or to use brainwaves to control a
system, including interactive simulations and virtual reality displays.
NOTE:
The BrainMaster is approved for clinical biofeedback applications.
Federal law restricts its sale to or on the order of a biofeedback
specialist or practitioner. The BrainMaster hardware and software is
protected by US Patent # 5,899,867. This device is an outgrowth of
the BrainMaster project started by Dr. Thomas F. Collura, for the
furthering of the understanding of the brain and the mind.
The
BrainMaster 2E is a portable, battery powered EEG monitor, ideal for
clinical use or home training.

What
does The BrainMaster consist of?
It
consists of a small (paperback book-sized) battery-powered module,
Windows-based PC software, and electrodes. The module is optically
isolated from the PC. It contains 2 EEG amplifiers, a microprocessor
controller, and the interface to the PC. The Windows software is used to
communicate with the module, acquire brainwave signals, and process and
display them. Your PC must be a Pentium/350, or faster, and have a spare
COM: (RS-232 or "modem") port.
