FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions Working with Images in Articles Image Crediting: Setting and Viewing the Captions for your Images All images in your article must be accredited. And it is helpful to add a caption to your images, also. We provide two ways for Image Captioning and Attributions: #1) When editing your article, you may press the icon at the top of the article edit box that looks like this: #2) Or you may wait until you are finished editing and press the Submit button. The publish process will take you to a similar page. In each case, you see a list of the images in your article, with 3 fields next to each image. These fields are for the Caption, the Owner and the Owner URL. Only the Owner name is a required field. But we strongly suggest a caption for the image, and if possible, a web page address for the owner of the image. |
