Advertise on Futurehealth Our rates will be linked to our page
views. THrough the rest of the month, we're holding to a rate that our
traffic has already passed. You'll find our rates are literally the
best in the world in terms of reaching people interested in bio and
neurofeedback, cost per 1000. I'll be sending out an email shortly to
potential advertisers I've identified, but feel free to drop me an
email inquiry.
The move to close the big Futurehealth Inc. office and shift to smaller
digs was slowed down a bit. I slipped on some wet grass and fractured a
few vertebrae. Very inconvenient when moving boxes down from a third
floor office. Well, that's what 19 year old sons and their friends are
for.The good news is I am doing fine, no pain meds, walking around, no pain except when I cough. Really!! I was very lucky.
We're gradually identifying the inventory we have to close out and what we're going to keep.
We definitely have several more of the Two channel computer biofeedback
systems. These sold new for about $3000. We're selling them, with a
computer for $199 and $20 shipping in the continental US. You get EMG
and thermal feedback, which you connect to an analog TV with RCA
inputs. WE can provide a few color monitors for $75, including shipping.
We have thousands of paper collars and dozens of re-usable snap
electrodes. Buy 1000 paper collars for $35 including a set of re-usable
snap electrodes.
We still have a big supply of disposable EMG electrodes. Order triodes
or triple, three across electrodes-- 100 sets for $35 or three sets for
$75 plus $10 shipping.
That's an amazing price.
We have some used J&J I-330 tan box computer units. $500 alone, $900 with Bionetica software for windows.
We have some M-57 EMGs and one or two T-68 Thermal trainers at $400 each.
We have a stand alone EEG from Biofeedback instrument company $350
We have several Thought Tech used myotrac-- the earlier version. for $299 each.
We have an EMG scanner-- stand-alone-- for $399
WE have a number of Photosonics light sound machines we'll sell at half price. Write for details. These are new.
While the bulk of the biofeedback library is sold, we have a collection
of proceedings from past AAPB/BSA meetings. They sold for $10-$20 each.
We'll sell five for $20. They're older, but chock full of fascinating
abstracts and studies. Shipping is extra-- $12. They're big books.
best,

The use of EMG biofeedback for the treatment of chronic tension headache.
Headache is the most common pain complaint(11) and the most frequent medical problem seen in medical clinics(7). Most experts(3) believe that the majority of headaches are muscle tension-type. Although nearly all of the headache literature treats biofeedback and relaxation therapy as separate interventions, most clinicians combine both procedures when treating their tension headache patients.

Tapping the Power of Gratitude
I can't remember exactly what the simple incident was (something like someone picking up something I dropped), but in that moment I recognized, truly recognized, that someone did something for me...just because they were being kind. I said "thank you", but somehow that moment made a larger impact on me than what my words were able to express. Soon I was making cards saying, "I know it may seem like a small thing that you...

Primun non nocere. This is still the sacred promise of every medical school graduate across the country as he or she accepts the diploma, the title and the rank of healer in our culture. It is the core of the Hippocratic Oath. However, in a world of unreasonable speed, in which new discoveries and new pharmaceuticals are being produced in measures of seconds, not years, it may be more than doctors can promise us anymore.
