Greetings:
This is the second edition of the BIOPSY cyberzine. I must reiterate that it is an interactive entity which will depend upon responses and discussion from its recipients if it is to reach it's full potential. I realize this will take time, As response levels build, it could become something you see in your mailbox every day. Thus issue includes a number of announcements about meetings,  a website, a recruitment ad, info on a daily quotation listserve group,  and on the Journal of Neurotherapy.  In future issues you'll see articles, essays, threads of discussions, lists, website, meeting, conference, seminar, book, tape, product, software  announcements and reviews. If you have one of the above, send it to me and I may, at my sole discretion include it.   Even jokes, quotes and poetry are fine. If you don't like somehting, let me know. BTW, this is free, and it pays for itself by supporting me and my projects. If you don't   it, just reply, delete. And you'll  be pulled from the list, and your name will be sent to internet spam corp international. (Just kidding).  So, enjoy and get involved.

RECRUITING ONLINE STAFF...to help us build community on the newly revamped Compuserve Mind-Brain Sciences Forum [GO MIND]. Seeking clinicians interested in stimulating cross-disciplinary dialogue by moderating discussion threads, reacting to research studies, posting book reviews and/or sharing your musings about human mentality. Familiarity with Tapcis or CISNav and comfort with the Internet a bonus, but not a must. Includes free flag and potential for advancement to sysop with a sponsored CIS account. The goals of MBB are summarized below:

MIND-BRAIN/BODY SCIENCES FORUM: WHY WE ARE HERE
================================================
This forum is managed by individuals who share a conviction
that our continued wellbeing depends on increased communication
across disciplines. We are here to facilitate dialogue between
open minds from all venues - scientists, clinicians, physicians,
psychologists, therapists, physicists, philosophers, journalists,
educators - and everyone else with an active interest in exploring
the workings of, and connections between, brain, body and psyche.
All who study, treat, or contemplate consciousness, mentality and
behavior will find food for thought here, from the psychiatric
and psychological to the biological, from the psycho-technical to
the metaphysical, and the practical and clinical to the theoretical
and speculative. This mix is to encourage ideas and discoveries to
flow between and beyond the professions and to support all those who
wish to view the human mind from many angles.

If this sounds like it could be your cup of tea, please send me an email with a brief summary of your bio. (MD or Ph.D. students welcome to apply). Meanwhile, check out GO MIND. Your ideas and feedback will be most welcome. Thanks!
